Lionsgate has announced that actors Imanol Yepez-Frias and Annie Thurman have joined the cast of The Hunger Games. They will portray the unnamed tributes of District 9 in the highly-anticipated movie. Take a look at these new tributes below.
Only two districts (District 2 and District 10) need to be cast for The Hunger Games, which is based on the novel by Suzanne Collins. The story centers on a nationally-televised event where teenagers from America's 12 districts are chosen to compete in The Hunger Games, where they must fight to the death.
Gary Ross is directing The Hunger Games from an adapted screenplay by Billy Ray. It isn't known when production will start on The Hunger Games yet.
The Hunger Games comes to theaters March 23rd, 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, John C. Reilly, Wes Bentley, Leven Rambin, Willow Shields. The film is directed by Gary Ross.
