Bradley Cooper Eyes Paradise Lost




Bradley Cooper may join Paradise Lost

Bradley Cooper is eyeing the role of Lucifer in an adaptation of John Milton's epic 17th-century poem Paradise Lost for Legendary Pictures.


An official offer has yet to be made, but Bradley Cooper is eager for the role.


Alex Proyas' adaptation of Paradise Lost tells the story of the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer, including the latter's role in Adam and Eve's fall from grace. The film will be crafted as an action vehicle that will include aerial warfare, possibly shot in 3D.


No production date has been set.


Paradise Lost comes to theaters in 2012. The film is directed by Alex Proyas.
