My Mother's Curse Gets Colin Hanks

Actor Colin Hanks has joined the cast of the upcoming Paramount Pictures comedy My Mother's Curse.

The story centers on a son (Seth Rogen) who invites his mother (Barbra Streisand) on a road trip to try and sell his new invention. However, he has an ulterior motive to reunite his mom with her long-lost lover. Colin Hanks will play the husband of Yvonne Strahovski's character, an ex-lover of Seth Rogen's who once proposed to her. The son and mother end up staying with Colin Hanks and Yvonne Strahovski when they get stuck in a blizzard.

Anne Fletcher (The Proposal) is directing My Mother's Curse from a screenplay by Dan Fogelman. Production recently started on My Mother's Curse, although it isn't known where the project is shooting.

My Mother's Curse comes to theaters March 30th, 2012 and stars Seth Rogen, Barbra Streisand, Yvonne Strahovski, Colin Hanks. The film is directed by Anne Fletcher.
